The 6 day tour from Fes connects Fes to Marrakech through the Sahara desert. You will see a lot of amazing destinations in a short amount of time over 6 days and 5 nights. Our 6 day trip from Fes will take you to visit to visit Chefchaouen, Meknes, and Volubilis, which has the most Roman ruins in Morocco. In addition, our 6-day journey will take you on a camel ride through Morocco's famous Sahara Desert. Further, our trip will take us to the most famous Kasbah in Morocco which a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. The latter is also a place where many famous movies were filmed. At the end of our tour from Fes, we will explore Marrakech, Morocco's tourism capital.

Itinerary of 6 day tour from Fes.

Day 1: Arrival in Fes City and travel to Chefchaouen.

The 6-day tour from Fes begins when we pick you up at the airport in Fes and transport you to the medina. First, you will have around 3 hours to discover the Fes Medina main sights, including the tanners, Jewish areas, and the world’s oldest university. Following you will travel to Chefchaouen via the Rife Mountains. Finally, we arrive at Chefchaouen and check into our hotel. Breakfast and dinner are included.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Meknes.

The second day of the 6 day tour from Fes will be spent exploring Morocco’s Blue City. First, after you finish your breakfast in your hotel in Chefchaouen you will have until midday to explore and walk in the beautiful blue streets of Chaouen. Second, we will travel to Meknes passing via Volubilis which is Morocco’s most famous Roma Ruins. We will also have time to explore and dive into the history of the ruins. At final, we will arrive at Meknes City where we will have a chance to walk along the Medina of Meknes. We will also visit the most famous monuments of the city including the mausoleum of My Ismail, the founder of Meknes city.

Day 3: Meknes to the Sahara Desert through Cedar Forest, Midelt.

On the third day of the 6 day tour from Fes, we will travel to Morocco‘s famous Desert. But before, we will travel through El Hajab and Ezrou. Furthermore, we will stop in the cedar forest, where we will see Barbary macaques. Following, our journey continues to Midelt, where we will have lunch. Afterward, we will travel along the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz Valley. We will stop to enjoy the scenery. In the late afternoon, we reach the Sahara Desert, where we switch to camelback and traverse the desert sandy dunes. In addition, you will have a stop to enjoy the sunset
You will next proceed to the camp, which mixes hotel-style amenities with traditional nomad tents. After dinner, you can dance around the fire to the sound of Berber drums under a beautiful night sky.

Day 4: Merzouga Sahara to Dades Valley visiting Rissani, Erfod, and Todra Oasis.

The fourth day of your 6 day tour from Fes begins after a stunning dawn in the middle of the desert. First, you will ride a camel to meet your driver. Following we will leave the desert in the direction of Rissani Town, the former capital of the Tafilalet. With its big souk that is active three days each week, Rissani remains an important commercial hub.
After visiting the souk in Rissani, we visit one of the fossil marble workshops in Erfoud. To reach the Todra Gorges, we drive via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves. The Todra River has formed a massive canyon through the mountains, creating a vast gorge. the latter is a good destination for mountain climbers in Morocco.

Furthermore, you will have time to stroll along the canyon to explore the gorges and take in the landscape. Following, we will drive to the Dades Valley where we will see the “monkey fingers” rock formation, which offers an amazing perspective over the Dades Valley. At final, we check in at our hotel.

Day 5: Dades Valley, Valley of Roses, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, High Atlas Mountains, Marrakech

On the fifth day of the 6 day journey from Fes, we carry on to Marrakech. First, we will travel to Rose Valley, which is a village that organizes an annual rose festival in May. Locals sell rose-related products such as perfume, rose water, oil, and cosmetics at this festival.

Second, drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate where we will visit the filming places of well-known films. Afterward, we will head to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a town with fortifications that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. The Kasbah has also been featured in a number of films, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, among others. Before reaching Marrakech, we continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-N-Tichka pass. There will be breaks for lunch and photo opportunities at significant locations. Sixth day: Marrakech to airport

On the final day of the 6 day tour from Fes, we will explore Marrakech’s Medina with a guide. First, we will explore the Medina of Marrakech with a local expert guide. During our city tour, we will visit the Bahia Palace, the Kotobia Mosque, the Majorelle Gardens, the Jamaa El-Fna Square, and the local Medina Souk.
