Itinerary of 7 days tour from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

On the first day of your unique 7 days tour from Tangier, we will pick you up from the Airport/Port or hotel in Tangier. First, we will explore some important sights in Tangier like Cap Spartel (the meeting point of the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean) and Hercules cave. Following, we will drive to Chfchaouen (the blue city) via the Rif mountains.

On our arrival,  you can explore the beautiful Medina of Chefchaouen and take unique pictures of its blue streets. At final you check in at your hotel and spend the first night of your 7 days tour from Tangier in a hotel or Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes via Volubilis, and Meknes.

The second day of our 7 days tour from Tangier will take us from Chefchaouen to Fes. On our way, we will see the famous Roman ruins. Volubilis is the most well-preserved Roman ruin in Morocco. In addition, we will learn about the historical archeological site of Morocco.
Following, our tour of the ruins, we will also go to Meknes, a 17th-century city, for lunch and to see the medieval walls of the medina, including bab el Mansour and the Moulay Ismail tomb.

The city of Meknes is one of the Four imperial cities in Morocco, which mean that it was the capital of Morocco in the 17 century. Finally, after touring Meknes, we will travel directly to Fes, where you will spend the evening in a hotel or Riad at the end of the second day trip from Tangier.

Day 3: Tour of Fes with a native guide

Today, you will have a guided tour of the medina and the famous Souks of Fes, as well as its narrow cobblestone roads crammed with ancient mosques and towering green-glazed minarets, and the distinctive Andalusian architecture in every area of the old city and its monuments.
We will also ensure that you visit all sites of cultural and historical significance, including the renowned Al Qaraouine University. The excursion will also include stops at traditional Moroccan tanneries and a pottery cooperative. At final, we will head to your accommodation in the Medina of Fes and the on day 3 of your 7 days tour from Tangier.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga ( Sahara Desert)

On the fourth day of our 7 days tour from Tangier, We will leave Fes city and drive south to Azrou via Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping to photograph Barbarian Apes in a cedar grove.
After lunch, we will resume our journey to the Sahara Desert via the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani. By the time we arrive, we will stay in a hotel by the dandy dunes for the first night in Erg Chabi.

Day 5: Merzouga region and camel trek with a Desert camp overnight

This day of 7 days tour of Tangier will be a full day in the Sahara desert, after breakfast, our journey will start. First, we will visit Khamlia village which is a small village for ex-slaves, it is going to be a chance for us to enjoy some local folklore. Following, we will observe the operation of the Miffis Mines before crossing a vast desert with stunning landscapes and a cup of tea with the Bedouins.

Furthermore, we will drive to your accommodation and get ready to ride camels and cross the sandy dunes of Erg Chabi to your camp in the middle of the desert. You will also have some stops to take some pictures of the sunset before you arrive at the camp. The overnight will be at the camp with dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert to Dades Valley passing by Jerf, and Todra Gorges.

Continuing our 7-day tour from Tangier, we will rise early to witness the most magnificent dawn of your life, casting a variety of shadows and hues across the tallest dunes in Morocco.
After breakfast, we will go to Tinghir and the beautiful Todra Gorge, the tallest and narrowest gorges in Morocco, before returning to our accommodations in the desert. The Gorge is also an excellent location for trekking, riverbank lounging, and sampling Berber cuisine.
Following lunch in the canyon’s heart, we’ll journey via the Dades Valley and spend the night in a charming hotel positioned on the mountain’s peak.

Day 7: Dades Valley to Marrakech visiting Atlas Studios and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.

Following breakfast at your hotel, we will journey via the Dades Valley to the city of flowers, Kalaat M’gouna, and Ouarzazat. The walkthrough of Dades Valley is lined by a thousand kasbahs, providing sufficient opportunities to capture some of the most unforgettable images of your trip.
In addition, we will make a brief stop at the atlas movies studio of Ouarzazate before driving to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco, built by T-Hami El Glaoui. It was also one of the last Berber chieftains at the turn of the twentieth century; it was one of his stops on his long journey from the Sahara to Marrakech.
In addition, we will visit Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1987.
