3 days tour from Fes
Day 1: will take you from Fes to Ifrane passing by cedar grove to Midelt to the Ziz valley to Merzouga.
Early in the morning, you’ll be picked up from the airport or your Fes hotel to begin your 3 days tour from Fes to the Sahara desert. After passing through Imouzzer, we arrive at Ifrane, sometimes known as the Switzerland of Morocco due to its Alpine-style architecture and refreshingly cool climate. The next stop is the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. If you happen to come across any hungry woodland creatures while out exploring, feel free to offer them some food. We’ll be stopping for lunch in Midelt, and then we’ll be on our way back. The next stop is the Sahara, which we reach by crossing the Tizi-n-Tilghmt mountain and following the Ziz River into the desert.
We cross into the Merzouga region of the Sahara Desert in the late afternoon. In order to go through the sandy desert, you’ll have to transfer to camels. You will have the opportunity to pause and take in the breathtaking sunset from atop a towering dune. The next stop is the luxurious desert camp, where you may dance around the campfire to the sound of Berber drums while you take in the night sky. Campfire supper and bedtime, and the end of the first day of our 3 days tour from Fes.
Day 2: you will see the Merzouga area, its nomads, Khamlia, Merzouga lake, Erg Chebbi, and a palm grove.
In the midst of the desert, the second day of your 3 days tour from Fes starts. It also is imperative that you wake early in order to see the breathtaking dawn. The morning breakfast is on me. After that, ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting. We spend the day adventuring in the Merzouga area. There are sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossil locations, and beautiful oases in the region. They are perfect for a wide variety of outdoor activities.
We begin our adventure in Merzouga by taking an off-road vehicle to an old eyeliner mine. Next, we go to the nomads in their woven-by-hand tents. Sip some Berber tea and educate yourself about their way of life. Our next stop will be at the hamlet of Khamlia, where you may see traditional Gnaoua music and dance. Mali, Sudan, and Niger are only a few of the nations in sub-Saharan Africa from which its people have emigrated. Time off for a leisurely restaurant meal. We then go for a walk through a grove of palm palms. Just a little distance farther down the road is the wild lake of Merzouga, often known as flamingos lake. Supper and bedtime At a hotel.
Day 3: Sahara desert to Fes Rissani via Erfoud, the Ziz Valley, and Ifrane.
On the last day of your 3 days tour from Fes, you will get up before the sun rises. It will be the moment to enjoy the breathtaking view of the desert landscape. After a leisurely morning of breakfast, you’ll ride camels back to Merzouga, where your driver is waiting. The next stop on our journey takes us out of the desert and into Rissani Town, the former capital of Tafilalet. With a bustling souk on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, Rissani remains an important regional commerce hub. Next, we take a short drive from the Rissani souk to Erfoud, where we’ll stop at one of the fossilized marble workshops.
Then, we continue our 3 days tour from Fes down the Ziz river and pull over to take in the breathtaking vista of the Ziz valley. The route to Fes takes us by a grove of cedar trees and the city of Ifrane. At last, we’ll drop in you at your hotel or the airport. Last, your 3 days trip from Fes ends.
